Karson Osborn

This month, the NJSA is pleased to recognize Karson Osborn as a youth spotlight!  Karson is 5 years old and is from Fort Gibson, Oklahoma where he lives with his parents; Joe and Stephanie.  He is in kindergarten and enjoys attending recess and hanging out with friends.

Karson’s NJSA involvement includes showing at NJSS, Southwest Regional and he exhibits at all of the OCPA Shows.  He started showing in 2008 when he was 3 years old and enjoys having fun and spending time with family and friends at shows.  Meeting new peoples, seeing new places, and hanging out in hotels is also part of the fun, according to Karson!  In the showring, Karson has a long list of accomplishments including; 5th Overall Duroc Gilt at NJSS,  2010 Champion High Point Berkshire Gilt Oklahoma Club Pig Association, Class Winning Duroc Gilt at 2010 NJSS, 2011 Reserve High Point Berkshire Gilt Oklahoma Club pig Association, 2009 6th Overall Berkshire Gilt Oklahoma Club Pig Association.

The NJSA wishes Karson all the best throughout his future endeavors inside and outside of the showring! We know he will be great at meeting new people and showing good pigs and also pursuing his dream to become a doctor and show pig producer.

He encourages other members to take full advantage of the activites offered in the Kids Korner at the National Junior Summer Spectacular because “They are pretty awesome!”
