Hello one and all out there in Pinnacle land! I am so excited to write in this issue. In the last month and a half, God has been dealing with me, personally, about a passage in Exodus 33:15: "Then Moses said if you don't personally go with us. Don't make us leave this place." I read this verse, and it really challenged me about wanting God more than I wanted my circumstances changed. Moses realized that God's presence in his life and in the life of the children of Israel was way more important than just having something he desired. I'm amazed at how much time we spend seeking things and miss THE THING that really matters. God's presence will totally change our homes, our workplaces and our relationships. I assure you this change will be for the better. So if you're in an uncomfortable place today, make sure God's presence is with you, and I promise you will get through the tough places in life. Just imagine what we could do if we actually allowed God's presence to enter our families and jobs. Not to mention, all the shows we attended. Who knows, we might be exactly what someone needed that day in their life. I guess I wrote all of that to simply say, we need his presence in our lives more than anything else on this planet. Remember if any of you ever need me for prayer or just an ear all you have to do is call 806.790.9298.

Hello one and all out there in Pinnacle land! I simply cannot believe that it is time to purchase showpigs for the Texas majors already. The older I get the quicker these years pass. I began thinking about all the people that would be searching through the pages of the Seedstock EDGE for their next champion show animal. Out of nowhere, it hit me! How much closer would our walk with Christ be if we sought him that hard? Most of us have read the magazines, given our finances and driven all night at times just to make a special farm or sale. There is no one out there more competitive or driven to find the next great one, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't compare to the champion we should be seeking with all our heart. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." You see it's one thing to seek Him, but it's another thing to seek him with ALL YOUR HEART! That's what is required if we want to find him. The Seedstock EDGE will have endless opportunities for each of you to find great showstock, if you take time to read it and study it. God's word (yes, the HOLY BIBLE) is full of opportunities to find him as well, but YOU MUST READ IT! So come on, let's all seek him with all our heart so we can achieve the only banner that really matters. That banner is JESUS!

Hello Pinnacle world! I am so excited about the opportunity to share with each of you this issue. Easter just passed and what a time to share with all of you the love of GOD. I remember hearing and seeing lots and lots of people writing and talking about how Jesus is risen. I began to think about this issue and I wanted to remind all of you that indeed he is risen and indeed HE IS COMING BACK. Isaiah 55:11 says "so shally word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please". You may be saying, Ray what does that have to do with Easter and his return. I am glad you asked. If you will remember Christ said he was going to prepare a place for each of us. He prepared a place for us because the day is coming when he will return to get us all. Isaiah reminds us that God always keeps his word! In plain good ohl boy talk it simply means He keeps his word. Now the day he returns will be a great day for all of us that are ready and looking for him. What a sad day that will be for those that have never accepted him as Lord and savior. So I guess the question has to be asked. What kind of day will that be for you? If you are not sure about that day please stop right now and just simply ask him into your life. I promise he will gladly take up residence and live there forever.

Hello to one and all in Pinnacle land. In my article for this issue I want to do something a little different. I don't have a scripture to write about, but I have a thought that has been running through my head lately.
One of my dear friends just lost her husband very unexpectedly -- I mean one day he was fine the next he was gone, at a very early age.
She explained to me if she had known he would be gone this soon she would have never have worked so many extra hours instead she would have rushed home to cherish each moment with her hubby and friend.
I wonder today how many of us have people in our lives that we take for granted and just assume they will be there tomorrow? How many of us take Christ for granted on a daily basis?
How about you and I look around us today and make sure our family and friends, and most of all our God, know we love them not only with our words, but also with our time and actions.
Just a simple thought to ponder.

Winter 2010
Hello Pinnacle people! I was reading in 1 Timothy 4:14 tonight and wanted to share some thoughts on this verse with all of you. "Neglect not the gift that is in thee."
Some of you may be asking what I'm going to say about that. Well, I'm glad some of you may be asking, because now I'm going to be telling.
Each of us have many gifts in our lives that God has given us. When I was at Duncan this year looking at all the hogs on display, I thought about these gifts. Some of the barrows and gilts I saw had such great potential. Everyone had a story about which boars they were out of and how their mommas had produced many champions down the road. I thought to myself, man, if some of these get in the right hands, they could be killer-good at the shows.
You and I have a great Father and he has produced every champion ever made in this world. He also gave us great gifts to help form champions around us. To form these fellow champions, you and I must be willing to open up and share our gifts that were given to us by our Heavenly Father. If we will be willing to share what was given to us, the banners will be endless spiritually speaking.
See you down the road, and remember, Jesus loves you.

Fall 2010
Hello out there in "Pinnacle Land." Can you believe how fast this year is going by?
It seems like just yesterday we were begging for summer to get here and now it's fall.
I want you to think about Romans 8:38-39.
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
What a comfort to know that the creator of the universe is going to love you and I no matter what! When I read this scripture, I'm amazed at how far God has gone to explain to us that there is nothing we can do to get away from his love. God is the very definition of love.
Knowing his love is always there brings this cowboy great peace and comfort. All you have to do to experience his love is simply accept it. So why not just let him love you today? It's really just as simple as that. If your reading this today and haven't felt loved in a long time, here's your chance. Just simply say, "Lord, I need your love in my life and I'm ready to give you my love as well."
