Blaire Boyer, 14, keeps really busy with livestock and school. She is also a proud member of the National Junior Swine Association. Blaire is the daughter of Mark and Janet Boyer from Kempton , Ind. She has an older brother Bryant.

Blaire is an eighth grader at Kempton Middle School and has been showing pigs for a long time. Some of her success has come from the NJSA Eastern Regional where she won reserve champion honors with her Landrace gilt and was second in the showmanship contest.“I joined the NJSA because I like meeting new people and enjoy showing,” Blaire said.

Blaire is very active outside of the show ring.  Her extra-curricular activities include softball, cheerleading, student council, 4-H, choir and National Junior Honor Society.

Some of her NJSA activities include the Summer Spectacular, Pork Expo, and the Eastern Regional.

Blaire is always striving for improvement in and out of the show ring. She wants to go to college and major in agriculture communications. Her ideal job is Jennifer Shike’s job. Watch out Jennifer!

Good luck in the future, Blaire! We’ll see you down the road!
