is the 18-year-old son of Kenny and Libbie Booth of
Crawfordsville

Ind.
He has two half sisters, Amber and Missy.

is a senior at
Southmont
High School
and plans on attending
Purdue
University
next fall with a major in Ag Business.
Tyler
is a nine-year 4-H member who enjoys showing swine while also playing intramural basketball.
This past year was

s first year attending the National Junior Summer Spectacular in
Louisville
,
Ky.
He was named Reserve Champion Hampshire Gilt. This is quite an honor considering the number of pigs at this show.
Tyler
didn’t participate in the judging contest or the skillathon. He says he “just likes to show.”

'
s favorite breed is Hampshires. His favorite moments in his showing career include being chosen to be in the Spotlight Sale of Champions at the Indiana State Fair in 2002 with his Champion Hampshire Barrow and being named the Indiana Junior Swine Circuit (IJSC) overall points champion last summer.

s main goal in the future is to graduate from
Purdue
University
with a bachelor’s degree. He would then like to start a career in sales as a feed representative while also raising show pigs.
