Katie Davis, 12, is from Paragould , Ark. She is the daughter of Allan and Karen Davis. Katie is the youngest of four children. She has three older brothers: Blake, Brandon and Jason. Katie and her family raise, sell and show sheep. They show pigs throughout the United States while also showing broilers at the state fair. 

Katie attends Greene County Tech where she is a cheerleader. She also participates in judging contests at various shows and plays the piano. Katie has been in 4-H since she was five. This is a total of seven years. Before actual 4-H, they have Clover Buds, a program like 4-H. 

Katie has attended many NJSA shows, but not the National Junior Summer Spectacular in Louisville . She has showed at the World Pork Expo in Des Moines , Iowa , the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) in Louisville , Ky. , and the American Royal in Kansas City . Her favorite event at the shows is showmanship. Katie’s favorite NJSA moment is when she was Reserve Grand Champion Overall this past year at the NAILE.
