Harley Ehrman

345 Miller Rd
Steubenville , Ohio 43952

Harley is a hard-working 11-year-old, who has been a member of NJSA for four years. He, and his sister, Graceon, 9, have shown hogs at the National Junior Summer Spectacular and the Eastern Regional.

Harley says, “I like the bred and owned division… because I raise my own gilts to show.”

He believes his greatest accomplishment while showing hogs was winning showmanship at his county fair last year. His goal in NJSA is to win his class at either the NJSS or the Eastern Regional.

Harley is a member of his local 4-H club and also his county hunters’ club. He says one of his favorite things to do is go hunting with his Grandpa.  They hunt deer, turkey and raccoon.

Harley hopes to one day attend The Ohio State University and receive a degree in Animal Science, focusing on swine production. His long-term goals include owning his sow herd and raising show pigs.
