Ashley, 16, and her sister Brianna, 14, have been NJSA members for three years. Their family has 15 sows and mainly raises Hampshires. Ashley has been showing hogs for nine years and also shows cattle.
There are many aspects of NJSA that Ashley enjoys such as making new friends, competing in contest and shows, and one of her favorites was attending the leadership conference last year.
Ashley says her best memory while showing hogs was at the Western Regional were she was third in the skillathon and exhibited the Reserve Champion Hampshire Gilt.
Ashley is also very involved in FFA. She is currently president of her FFA chapter as well as the Sectional President. Some of Ashley’s future plans include attending
