Rayann Eaves

12024 Woodsboro Pike
New Midway, MD 21775

Novice member, Rayann Eaves, is the 6-year-old daughter of Richard and Tammy Eaves of New Midway, Md. She, along with her brother, Ryan, and sister, Rachel, lives on the family's dairy farm, where they also raise NJSA swine projects. Their grandfather, Pappy Butch, has been very instrumental in helping with the swine projects. Rayann's favorite pigs are Ariel the Duroc and Ladybug the Duroc.

Rayann joined the NJSA 3 years ago with her brother and sister, and has been showing pigs for 2 years. She attends 1st grade at Woodsboro Elementary School , and is also a Clover in 4-H and a member of the Christian Youth Crusaders at her church. She enjoys drawing, reading, riding her 2-wheel bicycle, and playing with her pet hamster, Peanut.

Rayann's favorite NJSA activity is the Skillathon. She has also participated in the NJSA mentoring program, and she loves her mentor, Jamey Albrecht. She attributes her greatest accomplishment to placing 4th in the NJSS Skillathon the first time she ever competed. She is also proud that she was able to help her mother in gathering silent auction items for the 2005 NJSA Eastern Regional. One day, Rayann hopes to become a veterinarian.
