Britney Adam, 11, of
Britney has grown up on a farm all her life. Their farm is a diversified livestock enterprise. They focus mainly on show pigs but also have show heifers and goats. She has shown pigs for six years and has loved every minute of it.
She says, “I joined the NJSA because I knew it would be fun and it is a good way to get started in the show pig industry.” Her favorite activity is the State Display Contest at the NJSS. Her family has always been a big supporter of this contest, especially after
Her most memorable accomplishment was winning Showmanship at the Missouri State Fair. Something else she is also proud of is making good grades in school.
Britney is very involved in her community as she is the reporter in her local 4-H club. In 4-H, she is also involved with showing goats and sewing. In her free time she enjoys knitting, drawing and playing soccer.
She has high hopes this year as she wants to win the Spot Gilt show at the Missouri State Fair.
Congratulations Britney, your future is very bright! See you around the bend!
