Ryan Hoelscher

Ryan Hoelscher is an active 15 year-old from Hereford , Texas , with a heart of gold and a desire to help people. He is the son of R.C. and Diane Hoelscher and has three siblings, Seth, Curtis, and Alyssa. Ryan attends Community Christian School where he will be a sophomore this fall. He is actively involved with the varsity basketball team, the Symphonic Band, and Warrior’s Service Club. 

Ryan has played an active role volunteering his time at the National Junior Summer Spectacular in Louisville , Ky. – one of his favorite shows aside from the Southwest Regional.   

He says, “What I enjoy most about the NJSA is the fellowship with all the people I meet from around the country and having a good time while doing so.”

His most memorable moment was being awarded the 2006 Herdsman of the Year Award. Some of his other accomplishments have been winning the gilt show at San Antonio and being on the Tri-State Fair Board twice. 

When Ryan isn’t busy with school or volunteering his time with the NJSA and his local county fair, he enjoys working out, running, shooting sports, watching TV, sleeping, and eating.  He is also looking forward to a family trip to Red River .
