Skylar Knapp is a sweet, fun-loving, 7-year-old second grader from
Skylar started showing pigs because she wanted to. Skylar exhibits pigs at various open shows across Indiana, the World Pork Expo Junior National in
Skylar is also involved in the NJSA mentoring program. Skylar and her mentor, Jena Crone, do a lot of stuff together such as attending the ice cream social at the NJSS.
Skylar has had many accomplishments for her young age. She was in the Top Ten of Novice Showmanship at the World Pork Expo Junior National. Skylar has also exhibited the Grand Hampshire Gilt and the Champion Hampshire and Reserve Overall Barrow at the Marion County Fair.
Skylar is excited about exhibiting pigs this year at NAILE and she can’t wait to meet more kids next year at all of the shows! Skylar has a contagious smile and when she gets older, she would like to become a dentist.
