Liza Arnold is the 17-year-old daughter of Terry and Vicky Arnold of Liberty Center, Ind. She is the younger sister to Brian, 24, and Kyan, 27.
Liza is a junior at Southern Wells High School. She is very active in many student organizations including golf, National Honor Society, Campus Life and Bible Study. She is also currently serving as the Secretary for her local chapter of FFA.
This young lady has been showing pigs for many years and regularly attends not only the World Pork Expo Junior National and NJSS, but also her local county fair, the Indiana State Fair, and several shows on the ISJC Circuit. During her show career, Liza has been very successful and has won several awards including being named the 2006 Intermediate Champion Showman at the NJSS. She also raised and showed the Reserve Champion Barrow and Grand Market and Breeding Gilts at her county fair last year.
Liza has truly enjoyed being a part of the NJSA and says that it has shown her many things including how to maintain her integrity, make good decisions, and manage her time and money. All of these skills will help her to achieve her next goal of attending Purdue University and eventually becoming a veterinary assistant or technician.
Congratulations on all of your success Liza! You are truly worthy of the spotlight!
