Seth Lawyer is a freshman at Black Hawk College – East Campus in Kewanee, Ill., and grew up around production livestock. His family owned a farrow-to-finish program through his early years.
He started showing pigs when he was 9 years old and has had much success at his county and state shows. He became involved in NJSA two years ago and has met many new people by being a member.
He encourages young people to get involved in the NJSA. Seth says, “If you love showing hogs, there is no better way to get to know people who share the same interests as you.”
Seth plans to stay involved in the swine industry after graduating college. Good luck, Seth!
