Aaron Cain, 5, is the son of Lee and Jana of Chariton, Iowa. Aaron has been showing pigs for three years. He is in kindergarten at Columbus Elementary. He also has a younger brother, Dylan.

Aaron has shown at the National Junior Summer Spectacular (NJSS) three times, driving his Hampshire gilt to win Reserve Breed Champion this past year. He exhibited the Champion Purebred and Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog at the 2003 National Barrow Show. Aaron also exhibited the Reserve Middleweight at the 2003 Iowa State University Block & Bridle Show.

Aaron’s other interests include helping his dad and Grandpa Earl. He also enjoys participating in Little League Baseball and playing with his friends.

Aaron’s future plans include helping at shows by “opening gates and stuff.” He added that his favorite thing about the NJSA is, of course, “showing pigs.”
