John David Fourqurean

John David Fourqurean is the 15-year-old son of David and Leslie Fourqurean of Hopkinsville, Ky. John David and his sister, Ella, work on the family farm and are solely responsible for the care of their show pigs and show goats.

John David has been active in NJSA activities for 5 years. He has attended the National Junior Summer Spectacular every year since 2000 and is currently serving on the NJSA Programs & Activities committee. John David also serves as the 2004-2005 Trigg County FFA Historian.

At the 2003 Kentucky State Fair, John David exhibited the Reserve Champion Market Hog. Also, his list of state winnings includes the title of high intermediate individual in the 2002 Kentucky 4-H livestock judging contest.

Along with showing and judging livestock, John David plays baseball, football and basketball at Trigg County High School. He enjoys all competitive events and hopes to someday attend Louisiana State University.
