Mentors: To become a mentor, you must first go through training. Training takes place annually at our national youth leadership conference. All interested youth ages 14-21 are encouraged to train and apply. The MVP training will discuss how to become a mentor and specific requirements for the mentor.

Protégés: Novice, Junior or new NJSA members can sign up for a mentor on the National Junior Summer Spectacular (NJSS) entry form. You will be introduced to your mentor at the NJSS and invited to fun MVP activities. Your mentor will help you get to know others in NJSA, explain in more detail what NJSA has to offer, and simply be a friendly face in this growing association. He or she can also answer questions and offer advice on how to succeed within NJSA.

For more information, contact Jennifer Shike, Director of Junior Activities, or Katey Brattain.
